Call of Duty: AW - Zombitch Struggle

The first game to ever peak my interest and accommodate to my lack of gaming ability was Call of Duty: World at War's Zombie mode. With the new upgraded Advanced Warfare version, it feels like I am learning how to play all over again. I could not come to terms with the idea that there may have never been another zombie installment again, so I was beyond thrilled when the game was released. I love the challenge it brings, however for a beginner to the gaming world, they have definitely amplified the struggle.

My biggest problem with the new game is that there is way to change the difficulty level. I admit I am still weak in this department, so not having the ability to decide how badly I am going to be pummeled by zombies can be discouraging.

The challenge the game brings certainly can be intriguing though. After adapting to the new map and differences, it does appear to be much more stimulating than the previous versions of Zombies. With the guns scattered, the machines breaking down randomly, and the hidden doors, there is always a new obstacle to overcome when you think you have everything under control. Combining the advanced technology into the Zombie world is definitely exciting for those that love futuristic scenarios.

Personally, I find the mixture fairly overwhelming, but again, I’m still a beginner. The combination does serve as a break from the regular zombie brawl because it serves as a much easier outlet to escape from the predators. Overall, the high-tech suit requires you to make changes to your original strategy from previous games.

My last complaint about the most recent version of Zombies is that there are no barriers to rebuild. I understand they have created other machines that give you points by switching them on; however, for an amateur, I really miss the free points barriers provide.

Zombies has transformed the old gameplay of man- versus- undead. Whether we like the altercations or are stumped by them, there is one thing for sure: the game is still addicting as ever. There is no such thing as playing one round of Zombies. Even though it has been a battle for me to acclimate to, it continues to possess my upmost interest.
