Grand Theft Auto: V is a massive, incredible game, but that does not mean it's without any flaws. Launched shortly after its release, GTA:V Online allowed players to get together with their friends and wreak havoc in Los Santos together. Earlier this month, developer Rockstar launched a DLC package that added Heists to this online environment. Meant to team players together to undergo elaborate cooperative missions robbing banks and whatnot, Heist mode is having some major connectivity issues. Gamespot offers some suggestions on new content to explore from the DLC while Heist mode is being fixed- check out their video here!

Bikes Versus Trucks
One of the mini-games from the new DLC is a multiplayer event where two teams are pitted against eachtother in an epic downhill race. The only problem -- one team is on peddle bicycles while the other are in huge Mack trucks. The objective is for the cyclist to reach the bottom of the hill before they are plowed over by the truckers. The game is balanced in a unique way in that the bikes are nimble and quick versus the heavy, clunky trucks. This mode really quite fun, but is only a teaser compared to the elaborate Heists that GTA fans should be playing right now.
Knick-nacks Don't Count
Gamespot's vlog also mentions some new clothing and cars added in the GTA's update. We check them out, but its not enough to account for the lack of Heist playability. We couldn't even purchase any of the new armored cars because they require you to complete the new missions - it's a mess.
Rockstar has pledged that they will fix the issues soon but are defintely taking flack right now from fans and critics. Such a shame that this update was so heavily promoted and ultimately let paying players down right away. Game Prophet realizes that technical difficulties happen, but dang, we want to play Heists! I guess we're all stuck as cyclist being smashed by trucks for now....
Stay tuned to Gamespot & Game Prophet for updates on GTA issues.
