Game Prophet reviewed their article entitled, Gears of War on Xbox One - What We Know, Rumors and Thoughts and could not be more excited! Tweeted Hints

Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, shot out a tweet saying that their team is,

"Making massive progress" after a visit to BlackTusk's headquarters back in December. Although the game has not been officially announced, this tweet, in addition to Rod Fergusson's response, have essentially confirmed a new Gears on the horizon. Fergusson, who was a leading figure in the original game's creation, recently confirmed that he's joined BlackTusk Studios and will be heavily involved in the project. Until there's an official announcement, fans will continue swarming the rumor mill in search of tidbits of information.

Predictions

According to Spencer, the new Gears game will NOT be a remake of the originals as Halo did with the Master Chief Collection. Gears will embark on an entirely new story and most likely revisit its gritty yet lovable core characters. Whether the events will take place before or after those of the trilogy, we don't know quite yet.

Show us the One's Potential!

Game Prophet wants nothing more than to see Gears utilize the processing power of Xbox One to the fullest. Epic Studios, the original developers of the franchise, set the visual bar extremely high even on the Xbox 360. However, with Fergusson at the helm, we have no doubt the game will be both beautiful and action-packed in its presentation.

The combination of great storytelling, characters, and incredible locations to battle through established in the first three games leaves us salivating for even the smallest bit of official information. We may have to wait until this years Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) to even see an announcement teaser, but it's going to be worth it! Hopefully when June rolls around, fans will be rewarded, and possibly even amazed by how far the game has come along already.

Check into Game Prophet for regular updates and read Nuzco.com's article for more information.
