Diablo III: Patch 2.2.0 Introduces New Set Items

Currently in the public test phase, developer Blizzard will be releasing a big update to Diablo III: Reaper of Souls within the next month. Diablo III, the most current installment in the classic RPG series, is a title that Game Prophet will forever stand behind. Why's this? Blizzard continues to update its content even though the game has been out for over three years now -- and these updates are always free! Here's our thoughts, and what new items the patch has in store:

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls is a constantly evolving game. Every time you step into a new match the world is different, along with the demons you battle. Blizzard has done an incredible job of providing a wealth of content to players even beyond the game's level cap of 70. The incentive of gaining gear and paragon points gives Diablo some of the most re-playabilty of any online RPG currently avaliable.

"Fat Loots"

Heavily driven by the aquisition of new loot, patch 2.2.0 will not disappoint with the introduction of even more powerful set items and armor. Blizzard wanted to add more armor that is both comparable and, in some cases, more powerful than anything in the game's present build. From what we have seen so far, these armor sets are beautifully designed and are certainly something worth hunting for.

There will be a total of 6 new sets to collect in the patch. The graphics for current armor sets will also be updated. New variations on the "treasure goblins" will also drop item powers never before seen in the Diablo universe. Collecting these items will no doubt take some time and determination, but new maps for Adventure Mode will make the hunt even more fun and fresh.

Developer Blizzard never ceases to amaze us. They continue to add new content to the world of Diablo with no additional charges to its fans. Stay tuned to Game Prophet for further updates on patch 2.2.0!
