Wow... Game Prophet did not think this was real when we first discovered it. Goat Simulator is a self-proclaimed, "small, broken, and stupid game" developed by indie Coffee Stain Studios, and its coming to Xbox One. The game, which was originally created for PC, has become such an underground hit that Microsoft plans to sell it as a $10 download starting in April 2015. Check out the trailer below!
Baaaaaaahhhh!
Goat Simulator allows players to control a goat capable to destroying people and objects in its path, leaving a wake of destruction around town. Since it is not yet released for Xbox, we picked up a PC copy on the Steam store, and its actually quite fun. You can run, climb, and assault people with your long tongue in an open-world setting. Some objects are interactable and aid you in destroying the town or yourself. The more destruction you cause, the more points.

How Do You "Improve" Something Like This?
It's hard to say what we would change about the game as it is intentionally stupid and pooly made. The real fun in it seems to be the ragdoll animations of the people and goat as they flop around in the carnage. It's really quite amusing in a twisted way to essentially torture this poor goat and the townspeople.
Don't Change it Too Much!
Developer Double Eleven have been tasked with adapting the PC version for the Xbox One & 360. I guess the real question will be how much they change or leave the same. Its low budget asthetic is part of its charm and popularity, so we hope they don't update too much. The animation glitches are honestly part of what makes the game so funny.
Check back with us in April for our thoughts on the Xbox version and check the game out for yourself. Ten bucks will get you quite a few good laughs, so we think it's worth it.
